You must report your visa transfer to immigration within 15 days of starting your new job. Missing this deadline can result in fines or visa issues.
Tax withholding statement from current employer

From National Tax Service (Hometax) - proves your income for visa purposes
💡 Can be obtained online at hometax.go.kr
Official confirmation that you are released from employment
💡 CRITICAL: Without this, your new school cannot hire you legally
Book Appointments Early
Immigration appointments fill up quickly. Book on HiKorea before starting your new job.
Keep Copies of Everything
Make copies of all documents before submitting. You may need them later.
Get Health Check Early
Results take 3-5 business days. Schedule as soon as you decide to transfer.
Bring Cash
Immigration only accepts revenue stamps for payment (₩60,000).
